April Feature: Feed Me

· Artist Features

After watching the community grow for years, Feed Me has officially joined the Monstercat family!

Feed Me has always been an artist, but that doesn’t mean he’s always been a musician.

While Feed Me’s claim to fame may be his prowess as a music producer, there is a lot more to the Feed Me name than just music. Growing up, Jon Gooch, also known as Feed Me, had his sights set on a career as a visual artist. He’s been drawing for as long as he can remember, and he was one of the first users on the online social artwork community known as DeviantArt. At the same time, music also played a major role in Jon’s life. He picked up the flute for the first time at the age of seven, and would later teach himself to play the guitar and piano.

Today, Feed Me is recognized as one of the elites in the world of electronic music. When opportunity opened its doors for Jon to enter the music industry as a drum ‘n’ bass producer, he realized destiny was calling and he couldn’t ignore it. Guided by the goal of weaving stories through sound, he consistently finds new ways to innovate and unleash his creativity!

Feed Me joined us to talk about his love for community, visual art, and so much more! Check it out below:

Welcome to the Monstercat family, Feed Me!

Jon’s affinity for visual art didn’t get cut off when his career took him down the path of music. Even today, he is exploring the different facets of the Adobe Suite and crafting illustrations that are just as amazing as his songs. He even has an entire room dedicated to art in his house! It’s that level of commitment to his passions that has resulted in some of the most creative works you’ll see and hear from Feed Me.
