WHOiSEE

WHOiSEE (Brett Hopkin), formerly known as Madhatter!, is an electronic music producer originally from Texas and now resides in North Carolina. Brett’s journey started with classical training in saxophone and guitar before discovering electronic music in 2012. A life-changing Skrillex show inspired him to dive into music production, eventually leading him to study Sound Recording Technology at Texas State University. As Madhatter!, Brett spent years honing his craft and learning the music industry, but by 2016, he decided to leave college to focus on his music career. Despite facing challenges balancing life and music, Madhatter! began to mature and gain traction. After getting married to his wife Nicole along with some other big life changes, Brett needed a fresh start. With over 10 years in the music industry under his belt, he started the WHOiSEE project in January of 2023. With renewed focus and professional experience, WHOiSEE quickly gained attention, landing releases with Subsidia Records and Circus Records in the first year. He’s collaborated with artists like Flowdan, Hi I’m Ghost, Josh Rubin and Shaolin G. (of UnityTX). In 2024, WHOiSEE released an official remix for Flux Pavilion, along with his release Let Go Of Control on DimMak Records, and his second EP Provision on Circus Records. After having his first son in January of 2025, Brett debuted his first EP on SubCarbon Records as well as Dirtysnatcha Records. After joining the Corson Agency roster in late 2025, the WHOiSEE project is entering 2026 supporting 2 different tours, collaborations with Hi I’m Ghost, Crizzly and others, and also several label releases already lined up.
