Telling Tales is an artist focused on multiple genres. His music leans more on the melodic side. Gaining inspiration from the wave of electronic music in 2010 all the way up until now. This includes Dubstep, Chillstep, House, Lo-fi, and Color-bass. Music by Skrillex, Madeon, Virtual Riot, and Porter Robinson are some of the big names he draws inspiration from. While gaining inspiration from these artists over the years, there is also a lot of influence from media like video games and cartoons. These include Phantasy Star, Super Smash Brothers, and Steven Universe. A song title by "KERO" that has stuck with him is "pushthesound". He often thinks of this phrase when working on music to keep him motivated for his love of art & music.
