Said The Sky is the project of Colorado-born producer and pianist Trevor Christensen, known for blending electronic production with raw, emotional songwriting. After a brief stint at Berklee College of Music, he left to carve his own path. His music is defined by cinematic sound design, live instrumentation, and collaborations that transcend genre. Whether it’s a festival stage or a headphone moment, Said The Sky crafts tracks that feel both intimate and expansive, balancing moments of vulnerability with cinematic intensity. Christensen released his debut album, Wide-Eyed, in 2018 via Seeking Blue Records, followed by 2022’s Sentimenton Lowly. His third album, Closer To The Sun, marks a return to Seeking Blue and represents a full-circle moment. The record leans into the nostalgic, heart-on-sleeve energy that first defined the Said The Sky sound while pushing it in new and dynamic directions. It’s emotional electronic music madefor festival stages, long drives, and late-night listening. Throughout his career, Said The Sky has collaborated with leading voices in electronic and alternative music, including ILLENIUM (with whom he toured as both a bandmate and supporting act), SLANDER, Dabin, Seven Lions, William Black, and Alison Wonderland. He has also worked with vocalists such as Chelsea Cutler, HALIENE, Matthew Koma, State Champs, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and The Maine, blending live and electronic elements into a sound that is uniquely his own. On stage, Christensen’s background as a pianist and multi-instrumentalist comes to life. He has headlined multiple sold-out shows across the U.S., including the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and has brought his high-energy, emotionally resonant sets to major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Life Is Beautiful, and EDC Las Vegas. Now entering a new chapter withSalt & Silence, the second album following the release of Closer To The Sun(over 5.5M Spotify streams alone), Said The Sky continues to build out the story of "Icarus", who flew too close to the Sun, burnt his wings and plummeted into the ocean; a metaphor for Said The Sky's own journey with music and success, and the lifestyle, opportunities, ego inflations and ego deathsthat come with it.
