neverwaves fearlessly mines the darkest parts of his spirit for inspiration, transforming his pain, triumph, and trauma into emotionally hectic songs. Not beholden to any one genre, he has made a name for himself with a gift for his revealing, diary-like lyrics. A thoroughly modern product of the emo/pop-punk revival, he is reluctantly building a reputation as a messenger for disaffected kids everywhere. Before breaking through as a solo artist, neverwaves led an unusually diverse career as an aspiring musician, immersing himself in everything from jazz drums to hip-hop, also becoming a sought after vocalist for EDM collaborations. Stepping out alone, he established himself as an artist of rare candor and authenticity, capable of building real connections with fans by exploring taboo topics like mental health, self-medication, and escapism. After a year in lockdown, neverwaves is planning to hit the road in 2022, converting his Ford Transit van into a mobile recording/living space. His goal is to journey to the frontier, to the hinterlands far beyond his comfort zone, both internally and externally - disappearing into the chaos of his mind to catch a glimpse of the core truth behind his life. Faced with an uncertain future, neverwaves continues to find meaning and beauty through music.
