MRKTS

Hailing from Los Angeles, MRKTS is an Alternative Rock ensemble rooted in the vibrant music scene of San Diego. The band consists of Isaiah Blas, Casey Peek, Jed Peek, and Chad Wolf, all natives of the Southern California city. Their sonic palette seamlessly blends soaring rock choruses, pop melodies, R&B-infused vocals layered over live rock instrumentals, and Hip-Hop 808 beats, resulting in a sound that is both refreshing and familiar. In recognition of their distinctive musical approach, MRKTS was honored as one of the top three "Artists on the Verge" by Billboard's NMS in 2016. The accolades continued as they secured the title of RAW Musician of the Year in 2015. The band has left an indelible mark on various media platforms, with notable placements on the NFL Network, ESPN, UFC, NBA Finals, ABC, MTV, The CW, and Fox. Taking their electrifying performances to national television, MRKTS has graced shows like The Today Show, Young Hollywood, VH1, and The CW Morning Show. Their album "Last Call," released on Bandcamp in 2016, is a testament to their dedication, taking approximately 8 months to complete once the recording process began. The band's live prowess has been showcased through opening performances for acclaimed artists such as Wyclef Jean, Andy Grammar, Jason Mraz, Switchfoot, and ZZ Ward. While maintaining an active touring schedule, MRKTS is currently channeling their creative energy into the completion of their eagerly anticipated next record.
