Josh Sytema, better known as MAYETRIX, is an emerging Australian-based EDM producer and vocalist with a modern fusion of hypertrap, dubstep and Y2K-inspired aesthetics. By blending distorted bass textures, intense soundscapes and emotional melodic production, MAYETRIX creates music that natural feels high-energy yet deeply nostalgic, delivering club-ready electronic music with a raw, futuristic edge. MAYETRIX represents a new wave of Australian electronic artists within the underground bass music scene. Debuting in 2025, MAYETRIX’s multi-faceted style has already begun receiving early attention from recognizable names including John Summit, AVELLO, and San Holo, marking an exciting first chapter for the project.
