Melbourne songwriter, singer and producer, Mark Zito, has been releasing attention-grabbing music under the Fractures moniker since 2014. Having appeared on releases with Lane 8, Jad Alexander, Lauren Mia, Paraleven, Sultan + Shepard and Jerro, Fractures has carved out a niche for himself as a singular top-line talent in the melodic electronic world. Having started on a path of electronic pop, his journey has since deviated to darker alternative indie band-oriented music delivered on 2017's debut album 'Still Here', with lead single 'Lowcast' gaining full rotation on Triple J and leading to sold out shows Australia-wide. 2019's 'Reset' EP ventured further into radio friendly indie-pop territory, and was released after being signed to US label Fader Label, while more recently his sound has taken an even brighter turn for 2020's creatively titled, 'EP III', a fully fledged foray into commercial pop, all releases having the through line of Fractures' propensity for emotionally driven, hook-laden tunes. Despite 2020's challenges, Zito wrote and produced both an EP, 2021’s Summer EP, and a full-length album of dance floor inspired tunes slated for release in the middle of 2023 titled ‘Shift’.
