Australian producers Jeff & Jonathan Hansen aka Ekko & Sidetrack have steadily become one of the most exciting up-and-coming duos within drum & bass. With features on Liquicity, Viper, UKF, Elevate, Circus Records and Axtone and support from the likes of Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Pendulum, NOISIA & Dimension among others they are quickly making a name with their euphoric take on dance music.

Between 2020 and 2022, the boys had a prolific run of singles including “Paper Birds” with Ruth Royall and “Under Bright Lights” with Twerl alongside hit remixes for What So Not’s “The Change”, Pendulum’s “Tarantula” with ShockOne and D.O.D’s “Still Sleepless” - The latter amassing over 6.5 million streams. A European tour followed then they locked themselves away to create their debut album. Released in July 2023 “Nostalgic For Reality” saw them showcase their diversity as producers and range as songwriters. It coincided with their biggest sold-out headline show at The Court in their hometown of Perth (1200 cap) and a run of shows through Europe in Q4 of 2023. The year 2024 marked their most productive period, featuring performances across Europe, including appearances at the Netherlands' Liquicity Festival, as well as shows in Slovakia, Germany, France, New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia. Their releases during this period included "Keep The Energy" on Friction's Elevate imprint, "What You Need" on Wilkinson's Sleepless, "Question What I Know" on UKF, and "One Wish," a collaboration with the acclaimed Brookes Brothers and American vocalist Brit Lari released through UKF. 2025 brought the successful Subsonic collaboration "Pressure," which was selected as BBC Radio 1's tune of the week in early February and generated over 850,000 Spotify streams within its first eight weeks. 2026 kicked off with a bang, including an official remix for Sigma, support for WORSHIP at New Zealand’s biggest Drum & Bass shows in history and national direct support for Pendulum Live across Australia. With more shows and releases in the schedule, there has never been a better time to get acquainted with Ekko & Sidetrack.
